Setting off from Plaza Valle de Tena in Sallent de Gállego, the route crosses the town centre towards the sports centre along Paseo de Fermín Arrudi. From there, the route continues through the La Paúl area, taking a turn to the left that leads to the San Juan irrigation channel. The route proceeds past the Pondiellos weir before reaching the area around La Sarra.

Once at the La Sarra reservoir, you reach the Carlitos Royo bridge and return along the path skirting the reservoir until you reach the dam. The route then takes the Vedado de Pociechomuerto path, climbing up to this area before beginning the descent towards the La Sarra road.

The race continues along the Santo Cristo path and the Las Sisolas track to return to Sallent de Gállego, entering the town centre via La Penazuela and finishing in Plaza Valle de Tena.
