Our festivities

Carnival

Carnival is celebrated on the Tuesday before Ash Wednesday.

The school's AMPA is in charge of organising a children's chocolate party with entertainment and games.

In the afternoon there is a children's dance session and in the evening there is a fancy dress competition for the adults.

In the past it was celebrated for three days because there was a lot of tradition.

VIRGIN OF THE SNOWS

The 5th of August is the Fiesta Mayor in homage to the Virgen de las Nieves. For 4 days there are activities for all ages: children's activities, parades with the charanga, paddle tournament, mass in the Tornalizas, flag waving, bigheaded. Every night ends with a dance session, bingo and fire bull.

EXALTATION OF THE HOLY CROSS

On the 14th and 15th of September we celebrate the small festival in honour of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross. It is the oldest and most traditional of our celebrations. During these two days the programmed activities are usually: masses, "Jotas" by the Folkloric group of Sallent, traditional games, popular "vermouth" and of course the "charanga", orchestra and bingo.
