Fair of the witches, myths and legends of the Tena Valley

14th, 15th and 16th June

The Witches, Myths and Legends Fair of the Tena Valley will celebrate its ninth edition on the 14th, 15th and 16th of June in Sallent de Gállego.

The aim of this fair is twofold: on the one hand, to recover and highlight part of the history of the Tena Valley from the 16th and 17th centuries, and on the other hand, to deseasonalise tourist activity by seeking to attract new visitors and show them the cultural and heritage richness of the Tena Valley. The story of Pedro de Arruebo, "el Brujón" of the Tena Valley, who enchanted more than 60 women who had to be exorcised in the nearby town of Tramacastilla de Tena, is well known.

These events and other similar ones are the ones that will mark the activities that will take place throughout the weekend.

The fair will feature a multitude of scenic and cultural events in the streets of Sallent de Gállego, complemented by the usual magical market of crafts and food products from Aragon, Castile, Navarre and Catalonia.

Musical performances, surprising shows, and various activities for children and not so children along with some novelties will take place during the weekend.
